J Line is super pimp. You can buy 2 S13s for the price of 4 J Line wheels :bigok:

JLine is a very reputable company.
Owned by a guy name Stan who started DTM Autohaus and also had their DTM Kruez wheels, he decided to add "JLine" to his line of wheels, im guessing to cater more to japanese auto enthusiasts. The wheels are fully polished (behind the spokes), not just the polished outer lip.

Cool?
I'm not sure why that's so special...

^^ haha 2 s13s for that price but you be crusin on some sick rims tho.:2f2f:
yea i heard that DTM Autohaus is practically the same company but some how i eneded up on beamer forums and they were saying they look sick but because they are forged they snap and cause of they way they are made its really hard to get the tire onto the rim..? is that true .. ? are they worth the price??im debating it

theyre just crappy wheels imo, not imo so much on certain parts, more factual. always the same bullshit with american "expensive" wheel companies, stick a billet in a lathe, cut some spokes out, done deal. cut your face on the side of the spokes. no design elements at all.
they just have like 3 faces that clear however big brake calipers, and count off a number of spokes, and you got a wheel. "ooh good idea chip, didnt think of a wheel with 9 spokes, wed better add that to the webpage!" same with iforged hre kenesis fikse etc. all shitty ass designs that look exactly the same. www.introwheels.com turns out most of the USA forged wheels, 100% iforged and jline, not sure what other brands they sell under.
but yeah ive heard many stories of crappy finishes on jlines, and personally, HRE wheels have super crap finish, super heavy, bend really easy, pretty much everything a car wheel should not do, these things did. would not reccomend them to anyone. banned from most notable racing series due to the amount of on track failures, haha.

from what i've seen, i like what they have to offer, and the direction they're moving in.
seems like their wheels focus on deep offsets and new colors (which is the same direction
the scene is moving in). only downside is that they really haven't been proven (since they're
still new) and over time, they're rep may be tarnished.
i first saw their wheels almost a year ago on a forest green s13 hatch (the wheels were
the "sdmsl2" in gold) with ridiculous fitment and stagger. the owner of this car is probably
a zilvian, and i'm surprised his car isn't on the j-line site.
for what you are getting, the prices don't seem all that crazy to me tho. i mean they're
a domestic company, and you don't have to deal with "rarity tax" doubling the price of the
wheels you've been searching for.

their prices are on par with Rays stuff, and...seriously, who would you trust more? j-line is a brand, not a manufacturer, read the above post
from old thread
And thy eternal ghost of Viceroy, Chmercer has spoken!
Amen!
End thread
but yeah, jlines never impressed me, at least not wtih the prices they have.

i guess its a matter of opinion. I like CCW and Kinesis not a big fan of the common look either. I have a set of CCW corsair C14 Track Editions sitting my garage. I really like to promote the USDM stuff so I am not a JDM cock jock maybe thats why I got parts from many american companies on my new 2JZ project. So rock what you like man. Jline is a hot looking wheel functionality is not their purpose they don't have the background or history many other companies have. Better of rocking a custom set of wheels CCW if you ask me. Just make sure you get the street stuff. Not the track versions they are designed for roads with out pot holes and speedbumps etc.
Good luck.

I doubt that's how they're made. Too expensive. Probably just casted spokes.
edit: oh yeah, JLine looks pretty good. Sucks to hear they bend and stuff... :\

So what makes it different from a USDM and a JDM cock jock. Jlines have a wide range of offset/sizes/options so I am sure they are made to order. How do you know Jlines aren't functional ? have you been using them? Jlines are made in the states . IF you look for history then you'll never discover the other end of the spectrum. Open your eyes history doesn't always dictate quality.
Only non-functional wheel there is, is a wheel you can't use. Buy it if you can good deal, otherwsie don't waste your money when there is lighter and cheaper stuff readily available.

Just agreeing with CHmercer. They maybe nice and anywheel is functional for its certain purpose. I just said i am not a JDM cock jock that has to have a JDM . Don't get me wrong JDM stuff is nice but if there is a comparable part in the US i would rather rock that. So i guess call me a USDM cock jock:fawkd:. Its still a matter of opinion. I have bought a set of JLines and I have had HRE, Fikse, and CCW so I have seen the difference. They are good looking wheels but orginiality counts in my book.

thats retarded to buy something because it is american. buy the best thing you can get regardless of where it is made. buying only american stuff is just as stupid as buying only japanese stuff.

I thought J line was made by I forge? Well for the price I would just stick with Volks, works, or some other Know quality brand. I had a J line ad that I pick up from a local shop that talked about how that brand was started in Japan a few years back and now they are offering to the US. Then I find out that it was a US company that was trying to say they are JDM so that people would not question the price, because they were "jdm" rims. I don't have a set so I can say good or bad, but I don't deal with liers.

so i guess jline = bad wheels ftw.....
I wouldn't say they are bad, maybe overpriced, but when I think of cool American wheels I think of Forgeline, Kinesis, and Fikse, not any of those iforged wheels.

Ok, people dissing these wheels are not necessarily dissing the style or whatever, it is the quality of manufacture and the price that people have a problem with. If you like them and can afford them, go for it, btw, those wheels on that z look fucking amazing.

Ohh I'm sorry I thought it was KoukiSpecs' Z... thanks for answering a question which was not directed to you... wait you didn't really answer anything.

instead of waiting for a response, the poster that asked about pricing can simply go to jlinewheels.com and look at the very front page, which has a link to "pricing", which will give him a ballpark figure at the very least.
it's not hard to use the internet, but I guess it's easier to be lame
if only one person were allowed to answer each question, internet forums would suck
the answer wasn't directed at you, yet here you are commenting. Do you really want to bicker about this? your response had even less to do with the topic than mine, at least i pointed him in a direction

something different meaning that you dont see a lot of 240's or 350z's running the rims that im running, most of them run the volks, or work wheels, also the rims cost about 3200 without shipping, and also a 3 month minimum wait

btw imho i think these rims would look fkn sick on a white kouki 240

you are right, they are decently rare looking on a Z.. 3200 is a chunk, but ive seen/owned worse...
and 3 month wait is standard... fabulous wheels are 6 months ,sometimes 7-8
