For the S13
Fairly simple but due to it's amzingly wtf placement it is a bit of a pain.

1.unplug battery
2.unplug harness going to battery
3.undo to bolts on the starter/solenoid
4.Unbolt the 2 bolts on the back of the starter itself. (the diagram is very simplified.) feel around for the 2 bolts, they are parrallel to eachother. And yes these are a fucking pain in the ass to take out. you can reach them from the top or bottom.
5.Remove ,yell expletives *fuck you you piece of shit* was my choice.
6.insert in reverse order, make sure the 'blades' match up on the back of the starter, should just slip right in.

Feel free to add anything I forgot.
This may help too

Just one note, there is no ground on the starter, it's grounded through the case. The large lead you unbolt is directly from the battery. In other words, disconnect the battery first.

on CA's and KA24E their sinch to remove, shouldnt take more than 10mins especially with a 14mm Ratcheting Combo makes install and removal 10times easier.
