Title Question

say you have a car that is a 1997 jdm car and the title for it reads in that it was produced in the 1980's. a) would this title be transferable? b) if you got caught waht do you think the consequenses will be?

Theoretically most DMV's won't require to see the car when you want to transfer title, etc.

That being said, I don't see the issue as long as the title is "legit" to begin with.

well i think if the cop pulls you over and the car is a 97 240 and you have it regestered as a 87 200sx, he might think somehting is up and give ya shit, try it see what happens and let us know whats up./
