ok my friend used interior paint on his celica but somehow he scratched it with something and the paint like came off he said he didnt think it would come off so easy, my question is if there is a black interior paint that is permanent because the dash in my 91 240 is faded and looks really bad, ive looked around but all i come up with are things that im not even sure going to work.....and dont state that they are permanent..

Which would crack his dash and worsen it.

You can buy dyes made for interiors. I can't remember any brands, but you can get a ton of different colors and are permanent (otherwise they'd be called something other than a dye).

Replace your dash if it's cracked or severly faded, never EVER use amorall on it. AmorAll kills dash boards. It displaces the natural moisture of the vinyl/leather and actualy dries them out. You don't need anything more than a damp cloth to clean the dust off you interior.
