I've been spending so much freakin time trying to seperate the rear spindles from the bearing/hub assembly to install my 300zx parking brakes. The mother fuckers will not budge. PB blaster + BFH + gear puller + veins popping out of my head = no luck. I'm ready to throw the things through window.

All these posts say remove the four bolts on the back of the spindle and 'remove spindle and dust shield'. Only if it was that easy. Now I have to waste money bringing them somewhere that will probably fuck up my bearings. FUCK. I'm out of options. Sorry for the useless thread I'm just pissed and out of options.

I don't need that link, that shit isn't going to help me. I need a burning hot fire to destroy these fucking things and return them to the hell that they came from.

They have a write up on J30 vented rear discs that retain the factory spindles and e-brake... it's worth looking into and it only cost the guy like $88. You use the old maxima calipers and some J30 components to get it to work. Saves weight, time, and money.

Been there and done that. My spindles had abnormal heat colorations which meant excessive heat exposure. And when we finally decided to get them pressed out, the morons destroyed the threads. So i had to pick up a new hub assembly. But now i have my brake upgrade.

i used a hub puller to get mine off. it attached to the wheel studs, and used the center of the axle to leverage it off. an impact did the prying for me.
