I recently bought a 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. I only did this because i needed a vehicle and this one happened to be right in front of me and for only 2k. I've given up on the 240 for a while because i can't find a decent one for a decent price, i blame FnF. Anyway. I went to Sears automotive center to get new tires because my friend was hooking me up w/ a discount. Anyway, i waited 3 F'ing hours to get my tires changed! No joke. Some guy comes and tells me "its taking us a while because your wheels/rims are reverse mount and that makes them kind of a pain, and on top of that we have our new guy putting on the tires." I figure ok, whatever i just need new tires, i'm getting a good deal, and i have no where to be. They're finally done and i go to drive my car out and i hear a clicking noise coming from the tires. I have the mechanic check it out (same "new guy") he says the clicking is because my hub centrixes are busted or some shit and to come back monday and they'll relace them. I head home.. I'm a mile from my house and my tire goes flat... I get out to inspect the damage. It turns out they put on the wrong valve stems or some shit and they where hitting my calipers (hence the clicking noise) and on the one side my valve stem was completely shaved off and my tire deflated... on my right tire the valve stem is partially intact but almost gone.. on the rear wheels they aren't as bad because my rear brakes are smaller and there is more clearance. I could go on about how much shittier the day got because of this little incident but this is long enough. I'll tell you all what Sears does about it once i show them my tires.
