For people who actually go tow their cars to the track.. what do you guys use to tow with?

My friend usually helps me out with towing my car to the track, but I don't want to ask for too many favors. I plan on just using a simple open car trailer along with some spare wheels/tires and basic tools.

I'd like something that I can use to daily drive as well, so decent gas mileage would be a bonus.. I just want some ideas of trucks/suv's I can get..

so.. what do you guys tow with?

On travelling tires/wheels :) 97 Toyota Landcruiser, I take the hitch off whenever I'm not towing - it's on 35's when going out offroading on planned trips.

How much do trailers like that run for? What are the requirements for having one? And where can I find one like this?

how much could an s13/s14 tow? when you're making like 350whp+? Or is our chassis not rigid enough to tow another car? Everyone jokes we got a truck engine anyway, could it tow like one?

When we tow vehicles, we either use my Dads 05 colorado with the I5 or my 97 grand cherokee with the 5.2L v-8. Then we actually tow the cars on a tow dolly

We are probably going to be getting a diesel and a trailer in the next couple of years. My dad has wanted to get one for a while.

Creepy rapist van FTW. I cant say enough good things about it. 1987 E350 7.6L V8 8mpg, but whatever. The van AND trailer only cost me 2k. Dual axel open wheeld trailer.

Its seriously creeystatus though. True story, I lent it to a friend to help him move his motor cycle, and when they were parking his my other friend got out on the passenger side. There were 2 girls walking, and they straight up turned and ran the other direction...lol
