... if you dont have money to buy the walbro... then dont bump the boost. easy as that. the stock fuel pump doesnt pump out too much gas so you're gonna lean. save up, get the fp, and bump the boost.

Dont risk it, dont be a dumbass because if you dont have a fuel pump now, then you probably wont have the money for a new motor when you blow it.

You also didnt need to double post it.

So you spent all that money to get the SR in, and now you skimp on upgrading fuel pump?

Cmonnn, penny pinching on the important stuff?

LOL, i was just talking to sam (Owner of JSPEC)

and he will step on anyone (in general, just talking about anything) if you dont upgrade your fuel pump.

thats gotta be the most retarded things ever.

Thats like buying something.... well Im not even gonna go into it.

Buy a new pump. Walb isnt even good enough... You should buy A Denso, (Stock Z32)

I would shoot for that over a Walb, but they are a lil more.

anyways. Dont be Stupid. THe End.

there is a reason that z32s that are pumping out quite a bit of power are still using the stock pump, but you can also bump up to the tomei one. (I'm selling one too). Simple plug n' play. you will be able to boost safely, knowing you didn't waste 2-4grand because you skimped out on a $100-300 part

dont drive it hard, dont let it hit boost all the time... original s13 silvia/180sx fuel pump prolly wasnt much different then stock USDM.

save up til you get a better pump. Walbro is sufficient for the price, its thier lifespan that is in question. I killed a z32 pump, but thats because the filter fell off it and dirty fuel probably killed it. Got a walbro for now. Denso fuel pumps are a little more and are OEM so they are the way to go.

once you convert the pump assembly for a walbro, replacing em is a cinch since they use harness plugs for easy replacement.
