Any one buy from upgarage? I know its one of the largest used aftermarket parts store in japan but is it possible to get some shipped here? I think Ive heard of some people buying from it I believe. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated as Im looking for some nice four lug wheels.

I might just do it. But Im on a tight budget. Ill just save up I guess.... longer. Its nice to know there are other sites besides rbmotoring and stuff for a good used wheel section though. I might contact you yokota farther down the line.

Thanks for the input and let me know if yall have any other suggestions or contacts.

RRR rarely in my opinion has good fitment wheels for S chassis. They do have a lot of nic-nack stuff that you might be looking for.

RB Motoring gets in a lot of good fitment stuff, but you really have to be on top of it and check back often to catch the good stuff once it drops on the site. Also, typically the GOOD stuff (say, TE37s good fitment) won't even hit the site because someone local cops it first.

There's other guys in Socal, like Wheel Choice, but I haven't seen him bring in a S chassis fitment in forever.

You should REALLY go 5 lug, I'm not even kidding.

Then you could surf Rinkya and stuff and get good fitment wheels from Japan (if you can't just find something here in the states).

I went to an upgarage about a week ago, its crazy cheap, find someone in japan and ship stuff, its quite easy. Easier to deal with than yahoo auctions, and prices are negotiable.

is rrr-game on vacation or do they just not like texans? sent them an email asking about shipping prices for some stuff on upgarage over a week ago with no response, sent a 2nd email yesterday - still no response.

at least memoryfab responds quickly to pricing requests, but they want $675 just for shipping/duties/?? on a set wheels w/tires i don't want (and they can't/won't remove) from upgarage. the wheels are $417 so that's $1100 total shipped price, sucks :(

Nice. No affiliation with the real Up Garage, but they're calling themselves Up Garage USA.
I bet they're even using Up Garage's stickers.

RRR's website sucks, they hardly update things, especially their wheel section. I go to their store at least twice a month though, they dont get a LOT of S chassis stuff but every so often they get some good stuff (Navan front bumper for $160!!! but i was broke :-/ ) So if you're not local to them then it kinda sucks trying to shop online at their site. I've bought a bunch of stuff from them, my friends have too. Theyre super kool guys and all their prices are negotiable.

the "UP" stands for University Place (where they're located). They say that it's coincidental that UP Garage USA and the real Up Garage operate similarly

MMM... nice panasports on the upgarageusa website. I think Ill just visit a junkyard or something and look for some hubs and new rotors. 5 lug I guess is the way to go, you gotta pay to play. And in my case you gotta wait to pay.

How do I navigate through upgarage? I go through google, hit translate click on wheels and the rest is in japanese. Cant run through sizes or anything.

It's more coincidental that they were operating as http://www.fairladymotors.com/ since the '90s and then one day just decided to add the UP garage name in 2004...

staygold24

Im sure Ill do the five lug and save up for now. I wil do brakes just need to decide on q45 or z32 calipers. Im thinking q45 since I want to stick with stock rears. I might be pm'ing you in the future yokota or pm me with what you would charge for fees.

Thanks again for yalls input.
