OT: New Forums Ideas

Okay we need one Forum about Ranting.... The my guess would be someone who got a 240 about 2 weeks ago (or is planning on getting one) will post a topic about how crappy hondas are or how people only talk about hondas (when they are in essence talking about Honda by making the post)...And then a bunch of the same typa people will reply and feel real smart for putting down Honda.

Another one could be ebay items... People could post all sorts of electronic forced induction and contraptions you put in your intake pipe that are super devices... And then people can reply like "No, it's not worth it!"...

Another one could be about Drifting cuz well.. the obvious...

I dont know I just thought that would be cool.... I'm not sure how many forums Ikonboard allows or how it all works but I think it would make the place run alot more efficiently...

edit: oh yeah and one for new folk to introduce themselves... or old folk to properly introduce themselves because they didnt when they were new

I think the best Idea would be a "Vote to Delete" button.  Say a topic gets 10 or 15 votes it gets deleted.  It works great on TwinTurbo.net and I think it would work great here because I see people asking the mods to lock some of the posts or just flat out delete them.

Its called the chat section for a reason.... chat=bullshit no really info/no other forums for me to talk on.
If you dont like that then dont read them... if you see a topic that excits you or you think will piss you off then dont read them. There are a lot of people on zilvia that have been here longer then I have and have all read this kind of post before and are tired of it.. so deal with it or stick to FA which is less of a community(no jokes and funnies) but hardcore technical.

well sil80 you 300zx hatin freak. there is a reason why i personally wouldn't want those sections. because this board is very slow. more BS posts just slow the board down even more. and it will only get worse. that's my only reason. if the server were faster, then bring on the electric supercharger posts.

Not just you... it's just a bit ironic about how someone rants about Honda being the only topic racers talk about... when you were only talking about Honda... &nbsp;But yeah you werent the one putting down Honda, there are others. And I'm not sure you have posted any ebay items yet....

And James... I dont think it would slow the server down would it? Aren't each forum seperate... It would just redirect the ebay posts and such so the chat would go faster... oh well... just a suggestion....
