Gas smell?

Just wondering, sometimes when I drive around for a while, the car starts smelling like gasoline. I don't know if gas is leaking anywhere (it would probably evaporate before I could see a puddle of gas on the ground). ####, I don't even know where to start looking for a problem. But does anyone know what might be causing it and how to stop it?

Check the fuel lines to make sure there isn't a leak anywhere. Turn the car off, lay on the ground and watch

It might be the platinum in your catalytic convertor wearing out. I have this same problem (egg or gas smell) and I am just gonna replace the cat.

I'd also say check your fuel injectors.

If it is a SOHC engine, they are known for leaking.
