This may help those of you who are installing different size speakers than the stock 4x6" in the front. Note: I recommend using polycarbonate to make the plate, it will not mold like particle board and is less brittle than acrylic. Use the original mounting holes with 10mm bolts w/washers, they will thread in with a little help, or you can try to find longer screws. Also I recommend sealing the plates to the door with weather stripping adhesive so you don't get any moisture in from the outside. Also pre-drill the speaker mounting holes in the plate to prevent cracking. This template is not 100% accurate so you may have to make the original holes a little bigger to mount it on the door.
For 4-5 1/4" Speakers you will need to get 3/8" thick material to make the plate from, maybe thicker or thinner depending on how deep your speakers sit. For 6.5-6x9" Speakers you will need to get 1/2" Thick or 5/8" thick. I think the thickest that I've used was 1/2". I have not tried 5/8". The preprinted speaker holes are for Infinity Speakers, you may have to make your own holes for this as they may not be the same.

When you print this out make sure you print it border less because the PDF is 8.5x11 exactly so some printers resize the print a little. before doing anything you should put it up to the door and make sure the holes line up.
Good Luck.
