HEllo Zilvia,

A freind of mine is trying to get rid of her car. She has an ’89 240SX Nissan, mint condition, It has 117K miles & is in great shape, inside & out. She has been the sole owner since the car came out back in the day. Bone stock, except audio. Never beaten on or modded. Car is located in Melville, NY.

Its about 30-40 mins from the GWB. Price is very flexible. 4k is starting price due to the condition of the car. Its being sold by the original owner whom is female and has never beaten on it.

Anyone interested make some offers and we'll try to work with you.

thnx for the free bumps ;)

I live in Long Island NY area and am looking for a 90-94 240sx SE 5 speed hatchback no engine mods. But will consider 89. $4K is off the mark more like $2900. I am sure we can get together. The car must be in drivable condition and needs to have working A/C P/S P/B P/locks P/antenna P/mirrors cruse control. My main concern is undeRbody rust and body condition paint finish not that important. When can I see the car? If the car is clean underneath you want to sell it quick for cash I am your guy.

...89 and 90 are the same.....

I came I saw I did not buy. This car is a gem inside and outside all the pictures are true. But the underbody is a rusty mess and the condition does not match the 117k odometer. Besides extreme wear on gas pedal and seat belt and only two NYS emissions recorded in 17 years of use. Give me a break. The car is worth $1500 because at least $800 - $1100 goes towards fixing the frame.

I also learned that the two frame support rails on an 89 are one piece from stem to stern and the 90 is in 5 sections before they join to the passenger unibody rail. I sure that some one will buy it; looks great.:ugh:

...89 and 90 are the same.....
I just crawled underneath an 89 and the frame construction is totally different. Unibody rails are one piece on an 89 and a least 6 pieces on a 90. Maybe that was Nissans way of reducing rust repair costs on a 90. The 90 frame should be stronger because each overlap section of the pieces is double the thickness.

Update: Car is still for sale, there were quite afew people interested but no one picked it up. I've been speaking to the seller to lower the price of the car. I told her what the blue book value is for this car and how the price is way above what it should acutally sell for.

Right now i think an offer anywhere between $1750-2.25k is what she'll agree to. If you're interested email me at [email protected]

A couple extra items that she wanted me to mention is that the car has always been garaged, and she still has the original receipt to prove that she is the sole owner.

Very clean ride! Lookin to come into some money here in the next couple weeks and if the car is still for sale I could offer around 2k for it. I'm down in PA so a trek to NY wouldn't be out of the question.:wiggle: Hope the car hangs around for just a bit longer!!
