if you do do installs how much total for h4 hi\lo 6k installed into s13?

We do not do installation but I can recommend you to one of our hookups.

I'm down for a 3000K or mabey a 6000K as long as it's not a bluish output but pure white..

Pure white will be 4300K or 6000K (6000k being a very light tint of blue) Let us know what color you want I will put you on the list.

Ok I will put you on the list, but what color/bulb size you will need? Please advice. If will all depends on how soon we have 10 buyers to see when will we be able to ship. If we have them in stock we will ship it out once we hit the 10 payment. If something special order (i.e. Green HID and something we dont have in stock it may take up to a week or so, but we will be ordering your HID once we got your payment to shorten the waiting process, we DO NOT want you to wait!!!)

01-20-2007, 01:49 PM
quick question, how much is it for a bulb set of d2r but in the manuave color? or can you guys get a 6600k d2r bulbs?

D2R/D2S bulbs are $90.00 per pair. Manve will require special order and is $15.00 extra.

During group buy it will be $95.00 shipped for the Manve color.

For all other kinds of regular colors, they are $80.00 shipped.
And we only have either 5000K or 6000K, we do not have 6600K

It can make driver ride car easily in all-weather. Therefore, KLIGHT HID kits are much steadier in a longer life using, and give more safety than others.

buyer beware. glare is determined directly by how well a headlamp assembly was engineered around the light source meant to be inside of it.

Most of the kits that we have in stock had been shipped. It will take about a week or so to get there so please be patient. I will provide tracking numbers whenever they are available.

Pick up orders: you will be notified when they are ready to pick up. Which is about a week too.

If you do not receive your HID within a week, don't panic your kit might just need special order and takes a few days longer. We try our best to get the HID kits in your hands ASAP. If you does have any questions regarding your HID feel free to let us know

Alright so what should I order for my S13? H1? I've heard about the Hella H4 conversion kit or something? If I have just my stock S13 headlights, I won't need a conversion kit for HIDs? Also I've heard of HID kits not having high and low beams. Does this kit have an option for them (I'm assuming it's more expensive) but would it be necessary to have them?

Sorry for all the questions...

got these from another buyer (paid more i think)
great HIDs for the price, a little bit of flicker after a couple of months, decent brightness, decent HIDs and really cheap price for them.

edit - going to try pading the ballasts, maby flicker is from impact shock on the ballasts, but doubtful. Overall i like them. if i want a luxury set i will have to pay out the ass for them, meantime these are 100x better than stock lights.

Team Rootbeer

My kit use to flicker sometimes. All I did was make sure the connections were tight and the flickering went away. Try and see if it helps.

No no, I need a D2S kit (D2S base bulbs for OEM style projector retrofit), but I have 9006 stock wiring in my car. I was hoping you could provide the 9006 harness/connectors that plug into the ballast so they are "plug and play."

So,

D2S bulbs with a D2S base
ballast with 9006 wiring

If it's not possible to order this combination, I'll just get a regular 5000k D2S kit and wire it myself I guess. Thanks for the quick response too!

I'm looking for a D2S kit in either 4300k or 5000k. Do you have either kit in stock (ship immediately) or is it something you need to order? What's the leadtime if you need to order it?

Price for the D2S 4300/5000k kit(s)?

Thanks,

I need a 5000k kit: D2S bulbs with 9006 ballast/wiring? Is this possible? Ready to pay any time. I've been waiting over a month for the s2ionline group deal to ship the HIDs I paid for, and it looks like they aren't ever going to come, so I just want to buy from a seller who is on top of things. You seem like you fit the ticket :)

Eric

Hello Eric,

I am not positive if I can do that but I think I can special request a kit try to fit your needs as much as possible.

So lemme get myself straight, you need:
Ballast x2
Harness for 9006 bulbs
D2S HID Bulbs x2 for 5000k

I can put that into request and have the manufacturer put a kit together like that.

JRTLighting,

I'm looking for a D2S kit in either 4300k or 5000k. Do you have either kit in stock (ship immediately) or is it something you need to order? What's the leadtime if you need to order it?

Price for the D2S 4300/5000k kit(s)?

Thanks,
Eddie

You need the whole kit? or just the bulbs? I think I have bulbs available but if you need ballast too, I will see if I can just put a kit together and ship them out immediately. If not, I will have to order which will take around 3 extra business days.

Great! happy to know you got the kit that fast. Honestly, the Mauve bulbs are not THAT bright but they are much brighter than regular halogen bulbs thats for sure. And speaking of the color, the picture is as close to real life as it gets in our camera. If you want them for show, that will be a great color but if you wanna drive it on public roads, you are asking for trouble.

1 day left till the end of the group buy!! Act fast or you will lose your chance on this great price on our HIDs!

There's no such thing as a D2S HID KIT. D2(s/r) bulbs are Standard OEM hid bulbs. what you're really looking for is a wire harness that will plug into your car's 9006 plugs. The best thing to do is build yourself a harness. They sell these 9006 female plugs at your local kargen auto parts store ( i know because i bought some and built a harness).
you can follow this diagram for the harness: http://www.nrgonline.org/s14_hid/img/HID_DIYrelay.jpg

JRTLighting, for being a dealer, you sure dont know what you're talking about. sounds like you're just following protocol and making a buck.

To everyone running a hid kit, make sure you use a relay harness that draws power directly from the battery. not a direct power source from the OEM lighting. those factory wires are designed for halogen. Even though hid runs less power than halogen, the startup spike is 100 times more. This is why you always hear stories about melted harness. Better be safe than sorry and have a car catch on fire.

I am well aware that D2S/R are OEM HID. The seller did list D2s and D2r as "bulb" types for their kit, and also stated that he can order them, so I am assuming he can get them. I have 9006 plug-n-play HID right now. If anything, all I need is D2s HID "kit" type bulbs with the two power/ground wires attached to it and directly connect to my current ballast and 9006 wiring adapters.

ok, so i got mine in today (9003 12000k)

and, i installed them, but either im retarded or one of my ballasts is broke. i plugged them in and all exactly right, without using the "harness" that it comes with, which im guessing is just to add a relay??.....just went strait fromt the bulbs to the ballasts.

and only 1 bulb lit up. switched that ballast the the other, non-working side, and then it lit up and the other didnt. the bulb that had the faulty ballast on it(tried on both bulbs) flickered for a split second, then cut off. the one that was working was great though, but the ballast made a sorta whining noise. is that normal too?

if you read this JRT could you please send me a how-to or give me some better intructions, bc i cant even figure out how to use the harness thing. looks like it has nothing to plug into? wtf?

To the people who got H4 hi/lo kits, were your high beams and low beams mixed up? (HID in the high beam, hlogen low beam.)

overb0ost
02-18-2007, 07:13 PM
^^ it seems that theres a lot of defect problems that seem to come up with these HIDS, manily the manufacturings fault.

my friend got his 9005 and theres only 1 wire that comes outta the HIDs, unlike mine i have 3 wires (plugs). We both got them at the same type so yes they are the same company and etc. Its impossible for it to work with only 1 wire coming out of the HID because it needs to connect to the ballast and also the headlight socket itself.

it was missing 2 wires/plugs for his and he's currently seeing whats wrong. he thinks its a screw up on the manufacturings fault.

on a brighter note, i got mine and i love them! very good HID and brights up the road by a lot. Just that the manufacturers gotta get their game right and fix all these mistakes b4 shipping them out.

logik23
02-18-2007, 07:46 PM
^^ Yeah, I'm really happy with the light output of mine to, they looked awesome, better then I would have thought, but I'm kinda cheesed that the instructions to use the relay are garbage and that the high beam and low beam are mixed up.

FerretsCanDrift
02-18-2007, 09:40 PM
Yeh I had the same thing where the HID was the high beam but i was soldering in new sockets at the same time. I didnt have a working oem bulb so I had to guess which wire was which and got the wires mixed up ( high and low beam wires). I just had to switch the wires and everything came out fine. So far Im pretty happy with them. Kinda sucks buying a useless harness though...

logik23

JRTLighting
02-19-2007, 02:34 AM
Sounds like there are a lot of problems/confusion with the HIDs lately.

We actually decided to put in a free set of relays since the manufacturer included them for us at no cost (some buyers does want a relay to have the HID system draw power directly from the battery instead of the OEM socket) and that seems to cost a lot of confusion.

Except for Hi/Lo kits, almost every set of HID is basically either can be plug and play OR if u want to rewire with the relay. We just thought that will give our customers another option, we apologize for the confusion that have caused and I hope everybody get them working.

Feel free to let us know if there is any problems/suggestions we are more than happy to improve it.

Extremely easy to install, you could do it in minutes, but to make a proper OEM looking install where your ballasts are fully hidden yet has room to breathe and cool down, I suggest you take extra time and care in planning in placing.

Give me another day or two to get some more photos and I'll post them up.

peas, what car did you install your kit on?

if possible, I'd appreciate pictures of where you mounted the ballasts and of the cutoff...(against a wall maybe 5-10 feet away)..

thanks.

Nope no adjustments. Just make sure you get a D2R bulb instead of D2S so there's less glare.
