You can get a pair of track days at either Buttonwillow or Willow Springs for that! Ive never been to Cali Speedway, but if thats what they charge, im in no hurry.

Cheaper than Laguna Seca. With bigger and known tracks like these, the prices do go up.

IMO only, I think its a shame that such a nice place to run sits idle for more time during the year than its used. Then when there is something going on for the average joe ,they kinda price out alot of people. I say make it 170 and increase the car cap, the place is plenty big. Now that I really think about it thats about what it "used "to cost to run there as an SCCA member CAL CLUB (race weakend) & they used the track in its ROAVAL set up. ?????? PEACE

Not only is it prohitbitively expensive, but the person that created the account to post it bite directly off my screen name. Hmmm looks like they are either stupid or trying to get instant rep.

Your name is not as original as you think.

Unfortunately, I think the 240sx scene is about the only place you'd find people calling 260$ "over priced" for a track day on a GT caliber course. Just because it costs 120$ to drift at a parking lot in San Bernardino, or 150$ to drive at Streets of Willow (not anywhere near the quality of track as Fontana's infield IMHO) doesn't mean everywhere else has to charge the same rates.

Damn Zilvia lowballers.

Im not saying to change anything(who am I). It was just a thought of mine . My point is for just a normal laping day with a bunch of street preped cars thats a bit expensive, but I allready know this so its not a shock to ME. Now if there was something at stake here,or it was an actual race or something ,that puts things in a different light to me at least.Beleive me I would love to see more 240 people doing proper circut racing . Have you given it a go at fontana before ?

Hey SQUIDD are you gonna run it?? Nice pics you got on your site, I was at many of those car events also,PEACE

TO the TS- Whos the host?!! LATE!!

its expensive cuz all you guys expect cheap drift event type prices... the cost of this event pays on site ambulance, track fees, etc..

this the type of event I would do.. (if i didnt lack the funds) but id feel better with a cage etc.. id remove my speed limiter for this one =D
