ok so im already prepared for a lot of flaming on this one but here goes. I am thinking about getting a sound system for my 240 and i found a lot of the stuff that i want on ebay stores for really good prices... some of the stuff seems almost too good to be true but still all from power sellers with all positive feedback. The stuff (subs/amps) is supposedly all new and in box. my question is does anyone have any experience buying stuff worth a few hundred dollars off ebay stores??....these deals look good and i just dont want to get screwed

Exactly, you will get flamed.
The question you asked can be answered by looking at the seller's repuation percentage.
I suggest buying from regular online stores and having a shop install everything for you professionally.

Prices that are too good to be true on consumer electronics are usually refurbished. Remember that refurbished items can be considered "new in box," because they are repaired and repackaged from the factory.
eBay offers insurance now for larger purchases, so don't be scared to dive into a deal. just make sure that what you're buying is what is advertised...

^^ yeah i understand i can just look at the reputation but i am wondering if there is some way to fake a good rep on ebay or what...i know that there are plenty of online scams or whatever just wondering about peoples personal experience before i drop hundreds on car audio equipment...like i said all the sellers have positive feedback but the deals look too good to be true. ive never really bought from ebay stores but im not gonna pay double to get the same thing at tweeter or somethin if ebay stores really is reliable
