I'm getting ready to run some 18x10.5 te37s +15, and I want to run either 255 or 265 width tires. For maximum rim width, the 255 tires are listed as fitting a maximum of 10 inch width rim. Will they work on a 10.5 wheel without much hassle or should I just go ahead with the 265s?

What are they for, daily driving, drift, road race? What is your setup?

Theres more that goes into what size tire will work for you than just what theoretically should fit.

Actually it's not going on a silvia, but an evo that I'm trying to keep from doing wide fenders in the rear right away on. It will have wide front fenders and the 265 would fit fine on the front, but I was going to just do 255 all the way around to help the rear clear until I found some decent rear fenders. So basically, I just wanted to be sure that a 255 tire would fit a 10.5 rim since stretching tires is alot more common on here than it is evolution forums.

255 fits totally fine, i would run a 235/40 on that wheel if i had it. so yeah you are good.

werd... a 255 isn't really a big stretch on a 10.5... a lot of people run 235's

235 should fit nice. even 245/40 should fit decent on some brands. 255 is when it starts getting wide

mark arceal rans 18x9.5 +12 on his evo. go check evo forums for advice.

its highly dependent on your offset and how much rubber you plan on stuffing or stretching.

What your main problem might be the bodywork. like possibly Garage HRS or voltex fenders would be needed to reduce the mexicali look and if you actually want to pull the fenders.
