Car: 1991 KA24DE

I lined up the crank on the 2nd marking, I lined up the hole on the shaft with the indentation on the distributor, everything is plugged everything is on, have jumpers hooked up with another car so I know I have enough battery. Now no matter what the car wont start

prolly got the distributor on the wrong timing.. resit it, make sure the first cylinder is at top dead center if I recall..

take your valve cover off, and make sure
-lining on distributor w/hole thingy wahtever
-rotor ready to set fire at #1
-TDC by checking crank pully marking
-camshaft lobes pointed outward toward fenders

You could probably see if the cam lobes are pointed out or in just by taking off the oil cap. And when putting in the disributor you have to be really carefull. If you just put the rotor on top of the #1 cylinder marking (or whatever you call it) it will rotate a bit when you slide it in putting you 1 tooth off. You have to make sure its a little before it and check once you put the distributor in. I had this problem.

your crank will rotate twice for every one rotation of the dizzy so make sure that it is on the compression stroke and not the exhaust. so try pulling out the dizzy, rotating the crank another 360 and put the dizzy back in, it should fire up. the rotor will need to be pointing at the first spark plug.
