Ok so the store owner at my work just asked me to help him with a project. Basically hes buying an LCD TV to play demo videos in the middle of the store and he wants me to burn a bunch of videos for it. Ive never burned a bunch of random videos onto a dvd and tried to play em on a dvd player, only straight dvd copies.

If I burned say.. 30 .MOV quicktimes onto a dvd and stuck it into a dvd player would they start going once you pressed play or do I need to convert them to another format like VCD? Do most of the players out now a days play various video formats like mpeg/asf/vcd etc,.?

thanks

alot of them play most of the formats... i dont think .mov.. and wmv works for the majority..
ive came across a bunch of new dvd players that play divx tho... which is nice...

id say burn them as mpeg...

divx is your best bet almost all dvd players can support it
