Will a 180sx gauge cluster connect to a KA!

As long as you have a DOHC, or an SR, it will work

if you have a SOHC, swap the tach form your old cluster to the new one and your good

I was under the impression that the kouki 180sx was different than US for sure.

The kouki 180sx one has digital odometer and trip meter...

yeah, i had a kouki in my car, then i sold it, and put in one out of a blacktop type x (the earlier one, non kouki without all the aero jazz) and it works like a champ

well thats weird cause my sohc cluster works just fine with my s13 redtop sr.....
the cluster will work, but not the tach. You most def have a dohc tach.

everything works just fine..... and my parents were the original owners of the car so i know that its the factory sohc tach in the car and it works jsut fine with my s13 redtop sr!

but i'm talking about the tach, your tach does'nt have a 6/6.5k redline like the single cam does it? I'm using SOHC cluster with a the KM speedo and JDM tach that combo works. But the whole the SOHC tach will not work in any car with a DOHC signal.

its a sohc cluster dude...its the original 89 cluster that came with the car unmodified. check it out for yourself......it works just fine!

sohc cluster's speedo should go up in 5-15-25-35 etc not 10-20-30

2. Pegging 180kph is easy, it's only 112mph.

You got it right on your second edit.

Because I see it pointless to switch out clusters just to say it's jdm. Most people won't care. And if you get pulled over for speeding, blaming the kph cluster won't work either. I know how to read kph to mph, but I still don't see the point.
