Does anyone manufacture one specific for the S14? or does anyone know of one that would fit? Im looking for a standalone bar like the ones manufactured by lokar

What would be your purpose in getting one?

Harness and camera mount, at a low cost (for the moment anyways).
Dont have the $$ for a full cage at this point.

+1 for getting a harness bar by pro welder. it'd probably cost less too. thats my plan after i get seats. either a harness bar or half cage (b-pillars and back) so the car is more practical for the street.
-1 for being in a car accident with a full cage and dying :(

It's already been stated why you shouldn't get a harness bar. For the camera, you could get one of those suction cup ones and stick it to your windshield. My buddy has been using one for a while with no problems.
yeah I think having one made will be better because it will fit properly, I don't think that bar listed is for a 240sx. A harness bar is nice for those who don't want a full cage but want something for their weekend SCCA/AutoCross/DirftDay that is not competitive.

Yeah, i appreciate all the feedback. And eBay isnt the problem, its the product or manufacturer that has to be considered. Ive purchase many things from eBay with no issues.
Regardless, that bar looked like a cheap piece of shit, and for $300 id be better off just getting a 4-point bar from AutoPower. At least ive heard good things about that half of the cage setup.
Thanks for the all the feedback. Ive definately reconsidered.

Mazworks makes a retarded expensive one.
I made super rodney dangerfeild bar for temp, its pretty fucking ghetto. prolly just gonna add a bar to a safety 21 7pt for the harness.

roll bar is perfectly safe for street
imo cage is also but people will argue that
harness bar is ghetto and more dangerous than stock seatbelts, never buy one
autopower rollbars are ghetto as hell, buy your rollbar/cage from www.kirkracing.com

Not too concerned about street safe, this is a track only car.
And thanks chmercer for the additional recommendation, however their site is down. I did google the company, and came across some great pics of a 4-point for an Acura. Very nice roll-bar. Any idea what they run for an S14?
wasnt there a group buy or a sale on roll bars some where?

yea, plus uno for Kirk
they are local to me, ive seen at least half of the shit they build in action.
very very very high quality. i know the welder personally, and he is extremely good. call them, they will build to suit your needs.
as for harness bar, i made a mickey mouse style one just as McRusselPants said, and it was fine, just run the stock seatbelts for street. welded mine strait the the B pillars. ghetto as fuck, but who cares. full cage FTW

i have a kirk bar. i think it was around 400 shipped? its baller. i called up the place and had them add a diagonal from above the driver seat to the base plate of the rear passenger downbar. it was like 30 bucks extra or something awesome like that. they can build it however you want
