I need help fellas!!

I know this may be simple for others, but I can do it. So for those that can please tell me how I can take the pointer out of this rpm gauge without doing any damage to anything.

A fork, 2 small standard screwdrivers, or a guage needle removal tool. Gently pry while applying even pressure to both side of the post the needle is mounted one.
