i was looking at some parts on
www.erebunicorp.com
and i found this part stating .....
=================================
Do you offer discounts to Car Clubs?
We do offer club members a 20% discount off of our web prices depending on a product. Your club president must mail us a letter on your club letterhead to the attention of Promotional Department requesting to sign your club for our Club Discount Program. In that letter you should tell us a little about your club and state that you are looking for a discount for your club members. We would also need a current list of your club members with their names, addresses, phone numbers and year, make and model of their car. Your club coordinator at Erebuni will be Gary at 888.EREBUNI ext.202. Gary would be your only contact at Erebuni and he will extend the discount only to those members whose names he has on the list.
======================================

that would be awsome if this is true, cuz 20% off a fully body kit is nothing but sweetness!!!!!

let me know what u guys (guys as in all, girls and guys!

The fact that we have that many members might not work. I say that we should sometime, preferably in winter when everyone is back, try to split up everyone into divisions by where you live. Then we can have appointed leaders of each group and we would all be under the big Zilvia where west would be the head. And each division can look for local shops and stuff to get discounts at, I don't know if we could get the whole board a 20% discount, that would be asking a lot. Either way I don't plan on buying much from erubuni, unless they begin to sell the CWest kit or Type-X wing, but IIRC thye have a Nismo 270R replica kit.

Good job on researching....kudos on that....but....Erebuni? Try and contact Bomex or something...and see if they can get a group discount.

hey, don't knock erebuni, i want that shogun bumper =) make my 240 look like a Mr. Two on crack!
now, i know we fill out our vitals info when we sign up for the forums, but you ought to have a seperate form for club membership, where there's more emphasis on giving real information- name, residence, car, etcetera. i'd totally give you my info if you promised not to sell me out and at the same time get me a fat discount =D

Well I really like the CWest kit but for $680 (I think I did my math right, in other words, punched in the right buttons on my calculator) this kit is that bad for the S13:

Not to bust your bubble...but...those exact pics you posted usually show up on ebay at least once a week....with a different named kit each time. Sure $600 is a good price....but what exactly are you getting? (copy of a copy of a copy of a poor design?...etc.)

good point, but now I have no bubble , I will stick with getting a CWest kit, sure itll make my pockets empty but, I'd rather get it than regret it.

I'm pretty sure TIRERACK.com has some kind of Group fund raising stuff.. like If you go to their website through a link on your site and buy something.. your site gets some credit for the sale. That could be good for the Site's upgrade fund.

LOL no im sure there are a few more around our neck of the woods

KiDyNomiTe
07-18-2002, 05:27 PM
Thats why you joing up people near you and just cover more ground, if this gets into serious consideration you cold have some sort of minimum for a region, Califonia would have to be split up into a few groups, while other states like say Wyoming will have to cover more ground for the regions.

Each region could have a little mini website with info on discounts and info on meets and such.

Fresh 240SX
07-18-2002, 05:35 PM
Yes i like the idea of regional branches of zilvia.net
as long as everypage had a forum link that just went to this board so you can keep everyone in the same place.... maybe throw up a few regional forums tho just so places with not so many members can organize meets and stuff with out loosing there post which may only get like 8 or so ppl replying on a main board where it could get bumped to like page 2 before anyone who was supposed to see it does....

Just a suggestion....

I don't know why everyone is nominationg themselves, first West has to read this, and if he agrees then he can do it, but it seems as if West's first priorities are fixing the site and the stickers.

If this idea is used then we should hold nominations.

South carolina could be broken down into two regions. Upstate and lowerstate. i could take the lower state starting with about 5-6 members. I would make it grow even if it went chasing down every 240SX i saw=)

BUT.... since you mentioned election... what we could do for the election is this.... Pay Attention now...

Have a primary where we see whos from where and narrow down about 5 or less ppl from that area and have EVERYONE vote on a poll for the person they think should rep that area..
that way its not just the ppl from SOcal voteing for cali its everyone on the board that way its fair and democratic... plus it would be cool seeing the Poll and votes and it could last like 48 hours or something...

The geoographic boundaries arent really for the forum, its for the discounts, we can't have trhe entire board getting discounts from stores, but if we split it up then we can get discounts from big stores and also ones in our location. Most car clubs get discounts from local shops, but most car clubs don't have as many people as us.

Ok, well I have already started and I could link to Zilvia if WeST allows it. This is his deal and he calls the shots. I have already started gathering members in the Northeast and put as many as I got right here:
240SXONE (http://ne240sx.webhop.org)

I like the idea of regions, but then we have to talk with all of the leaders of the 240SX world, aka Alex Chang, Dave Alexander, and the like. There are many area clubs for the 240. You all should check out www.240sx.org and join the mailing list. There is caravan info for the meet upcoming and LOTS of good technical info!! Lots more than here and FA combined. Yes you get to chat with "friends" on Zilvia, but you get the real answers from people that have had the 240 since its inception. Please find the roots of the 240 as did I when I bought mine.
