It's time to sell my fun car. I bought the car primarily for dd and planned on having my son drive it as his first car. After I upped the boost 5 months ago, my wife and I decided that it was not right for my son's first car. I've been wanting to take it to the track, but have decided not to since the suspension is a little too soft.
Anyway, I'd like to get most of what I paid and put in it back. Not too much in a hurry thou since my son won't need his car til late summer. I wouldn't mind driving it around some more, but putting it out there in case someone can come up with the cash...
The motor has about 45k miles when I bought it according to Gary of Syko Performance. The body had about 90k miles. I've put around 5k mostly freeway miles on it since.
I bought the car for $12,500 in July 2006 with these parts already on it.
- RB25DET from R33 GTST Skyline
- SYKO Performance RB25DET install kit and wiring
- 3" Turbo Back mandrel bend stainless steel downpipe
- High Performance Aluminum caged Polyurathane engine mounts
- Walbro 255lph fuel pump
- 300ZX fuel filter
- FAL 240 dual pusher fans
- KOYO radiator
- Renova Carbon Fiber cooling panel
- Hybrid front mount intercooler and piping
- Power Enterprise pulley belts
- AEM dry air filter
- Optima red top battery
- Battery relocation kit
- Eclipse head unit
- 300ZX brake calipers front rear
- 300ZX master cylinder
- 3" Catco hi-flow catalytic converter
- RSR GTII catback exhaust
- JDM factory NAVAN wing
- RSR T1200 springs
- Tokico Blue upgraded shock absorbers
Items I bought since I got the car:
- new slotted rotors and Axxis Ultimate pads for fronts ($250)
- Nismo adjustable fuel pressure regulator ($100)
- Gate valve style boost controller ($50) - boosted from 6 to 12 psi. - removed and given to a friend.
- Autometer boost gauge ($60)
- Z32 E-brake cables ($100)
- VIS Carbon Fiber hood - used ($200) SOLD - car now has original hood
- front tension rods ($100)
- fresh (3 days old - still breaking in) XTD Stage 3 clutch ($200)
- new steering rod knuckles
- I replace the HID lights with OEM when the ballast went bad. I bought OEM harness ($60) and OEM bulbs ($20)
Items needed -
- front speakers - I don't listen to radio much, so this was last on my list to replace. I removed the rears since they were cracked and forums says they are really not needed if you install a good set of fronts.
- window tints need replaced
- it's got open diff - I was planning on doing the $60 version 3 weldloc...
