91 Integra GS vs 91 240sx

Well, i drove my moms acura, and it felt pretty quick! bone stock. When i drove my 240 felt way slower than the acura. Also are acuras good at handling speeds up to like 80-90mph? Cause it felt i was going way fast. But when driving in the 240 doing 90 felt like nothing.

well, i used to drive my sis' 91 integra GS before i got my '93 S13, and i feel that my S13 is faster.  both are bone stock and were kept in well condition.  plus, when i drove the teg when my car was in the shop a few months later, the teg felt slower than when i had last driven it.

i raced a really new excelent condition acura integra gs his mods included  cold air intake, catback, and 17" rims. i have a catback and 16" rims on my 89 240sx during the start of the race i was a fender ahead then near the end i started pulling ahead slowly.

i think the 240's will be faster then any stock integra (excluding gs-r & type r, we all know about those bad asses) i drove my friends 96 GS when he had it new, at the time i had my 90 240... when i drove it, it did FEEL faster..b/c it's a bit lighter and it's fwd, so when u tromp on it the steering wheel goes side to side...but when we raced, he took me off the line for about a car length ...then we hit 2nd and i started to creep...by the time we entered 4th (going around 130 kmh) i was a good 2 1/2 cars ahead. &nbsp;(I'm not bashing integras at all, i've seen a type r murder a stang 5.0 .....and here in winnipeg, theres lots of them stangs running wild!!<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>
But my 240 was a 90 with sohc....i'd think the 91 would be even faster

The S13 does have about 15-20hp over the 91'Teg. The S13 does feel more "torque'y" compared to a 2nd gen teg. In this comparrison, I would say that the S13 would come out on top. The teg might feel faster because i think that Honda engines have good low-end accelration. do0ke, do you have a good maintanence record on your car. Maybe a tune-up or something will make your ride feel a little "faster".

The Teg is FF, so it might feel "easier/safer" to drive. The FR S13 should not be a problem on the highway. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

a friend of mine has a 91 teg gs with i/e and it runs 15.9 quarter mile.. our car runs 15.9 bone stock... rite? &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

yea..our 1/4 is 15.9...15.9 isnt that bad for a s14..juss look how much it weights..and how long the thing is..i mean..i parked next to my friends 97 4dr Integ..and my car looked like it was a couple inchs longer..and the thing is hella heavy..so 15.9 isnt that bad i guess

well i can kinda relate to this topic..my sis has a AT 99 Integ GS..and i have a MT 95 240sx LE..but when i drove my sis integ..that shit was slow as hell...i mean..i didnt feel nuttin..mayb cuz its AT..but even if it was MT..i probably would feel shit..but when i drove my bros 95 GSR..i can most def feel it being quicker than a 240...by a lot to me..


and as for you..saying..u felt ur 240 was slower..than the G2 integ..its mayb becuz his car might be more light? i dunno..not totally sure how much a s13 weights..but yea..i dunno

If I remember correctly S13s weigh from 2650-2680 lbs. (coupe/hatchback)
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The only other cars I have driven that arent slow as hell are my dads dodge shadow and my mom's 98 oldsmobile aurora. Th dodge feels hella restricted, and is kinda slow, but the aurora has the same engine as a cadillac deville (northstar V8) and the thing feels fast as sh*t. Maybe because its HUGE. Seems faster when the gets up to speed being so big. Moter trend tested 0-60 in 7.75 sec and 1/4 in something like 15.7. I want to race my bro in it sometime. I have an A'PEXi rev/sped meter and I got 7.4 sec 0-60 with my manual DOHC S13. The only mods I have are K&N filter and a hella crappy exhaust. Is that reasonable?
