question says it all....i took off the 14mm nut off and i supposed that it would just pop off but not the case.....i could not get it off no matter what i tried.....i even put liquid wrench to loosen it up but to no avail...... the only reason i want to take them off is so that i can repaint them cuz they are faded and look like crap... o well

They don't just come off you have to yank them bitchez off. Then you can sand them prime them and paint them. Which I suggest you do considering the paint does not stick to polished aluminum very well or maybe I was just using shitty a$$ paint. humph! who knows? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

Back to Black works great if they still have paint, but if that's gone, you can't get around repainting them. I'd actually suggest you just paint the arms while they're on the car. Take the blades off... tape the areas around the arms you don't want painted, and then tape down some newspaper or a thick drop cloth over the rest of the car that might have paint blow on it.
This is what dealerships do for their used cars.

hey if you haven't already done what Yosho said , one last resort to getting them off is to kinda push down on the arm itself while lifting up on the part thats attached to the motor?or whatever it is , because you have to relieve the tension that the "spring" action from the blades causes..good luck either way you do it , lol
