its a cheater-gate.
Should have one of those HKS style dividers in there to seperate the flow.
I was probably just make one of my own out of ebay turbo elbow.
theres a good thread on ZT about it somewhere
The main gain is that it sounds like an external gate, some people say it helps response/power too.

link to the ebay auction?
Ask Squidd, he has one installed on his car. It was a custom one made from a ebay turbo elbow. Gains? not too sure. It does sound different.

Um, quiet track cars are much better. Try running that thing at LimeRock in CT and see how long they allow you on track....

Amen to that. Limerock likes their porsche and ferrari reputation. You could almost call it a gentlemens racetrack, a loud car is not welcome among gentlemen

the downside is, make sure nothing is by it, heat shield everything.
it is extremely hot, and often turns red instantly under high boost.
other than that, theoretically it lest you sustain boost more efficiently, cutting out boost creep and spiking with a good boost controller as well.

It wont clear the USDM steering rack.

A. Mine sounds NOTHING like that. Probably a bigger turbo in that video. Mines quite quiet actually. Probably something to do with my massive exhaust leaks and having an exhaust thats probably 4x louder than that guys.
B. You will hit the steering rack with that. If you buy it, cut the pipe down to about ... 1/2" in length, it's the only way to make it fit. Much of the sound is muffled from this because the pipe sits so far inside the car the noise just bounces around.
C. Seal that fucker TIGHT. The middle piece that divorces the pipes has been rumored to come off and want to get sucked up into your turbo. Not gonna have a good time. Weld it or something.
D. It sounds nice, but I found almost no performance gains from it, butt dyno.
I wish it was louder. T25, you can hardly hear it outside the car driving next to it, in the cabin you can hear it. It's cool. USDM it sucks though, can't shoot that thing out the side of the car and shoot sparks at passerbys.
