JET ecu's.. ~$300

JWT is definately better though. you also have the ability to get your ECU reprogrammed later on after the first time for only $100 each additional time.. say your N/A now, and go turbo later..

since when? do you have some special deal with Jim Wolf or something? lol. lowest i've heard is $595...and you can get $100 off if you send an extra ECU in.

EDIT: you said JET. oops. sorry bro. but keep on sleeping with Jim Wolf...get us some free ECUs

what all does the jet ecu offer?

in comparison to the jwt, and do you get to keep your factory ecu with either or is it a send in and they send it back?

i heard somewhere that a JET ECU is actually just badge engineering. you send them yours, they put a sticker on it, you put it back in your car, and magically $300 disappears from your wallet. d'oh.

lol I think you mis-understood. They cost $595 to get your ECU reprogrammed. Once you Own a JWT ECU, you can get it re-programmed again for $100 to get one of their other programs, like say you upgrade to larger injectors, and Cobra MAF...

Also Stil bil - for JWT ecu's You have to send it off, or pay a refundable Core charge of like $500. I don't know anythign about JET

what all does the JWT ecu offer??

reason im asking is because i am about to get 500 and some change and am looking to get the best performance upgrade..

i mean i am looking at
>2.5 exhaust (custom)
>ingen intake w/cai
>now just plugs(cause i read that aftermarket wires enhibit performance)
>and maybe a msd ignition

but if i can get better performance out of a reprogramed ecu than i may go that route....

someone please correct me if i am way out of sorts here

you should call them.. they can walk you through all of this..

Basic JWT ecu:
removes speed limiter
changes rev-limiter to 7000rpm
changes fuel map to run better on premium fuel
removes tip-in retard to get better throttle response
