Out with the E and in with the DE

Unfortunately my friend dosen't have a computer so I kind of obligated to post this thred so he can quit asking me about it. He has a 1990 240sx with a ka24e
but he's hell bent on trasplanting it with a DE along with its trasmission. he found a seller with the engine and tranny but is now hesitant on purchaseing because he dosent know if every thing will bolt right up. Has anyone ever done this. will he have to buy a new ecu, wiring harness, or drive shaft or any thing else not mentioned. I told him to use that mone to buy a computer. and stick with the E:2f2f:

He will need the following:

DE Harness
DE ECU
DE Engine
DE MAF

and the a portion of the KA24E harness that plugs into the body harness.

Other then that you can use your old transmission and clutch pending its in good shape. Other then that everything bolts up. Try FAQ or Archived section for more. MrMeph has a great write-u I used to do my last one. Goodluck. *a
