Hi,
I am looking for a budget water temp guage. What is your take on Megan Racing Water Temp Gauge? Had any one experienced reliability or accuracy issues with Megan water temp gauge?
Thanks,

idk about megan racing..i havent heard any reviews on them. go for something better like hks,greddy,apexi,blitz..ext...hks and apexi are great. you can try those auto meaters from like auto zone,kragons..those are good.

Megan Racing Makes good products. I don't know any specifics about their water gauge though. Also Autometer makes FUNCTIONALLY spectacular gauges, while the other Japanese brands listed Make FUNCTIONALLY AND COSMETICALLY spectacular gauges. Price is of concern here. My opinion is instead of the extra 800 bux of a Japanese brand gauge set, that money would translate into more important things like a turbo fund. Anyway the Megan or Autometer are going to be MUCH more accurate than your stock gauge, as by the time your stock gauge tells you your overheating, its most likely too late anyway.

i know for a fact, all the gauges suck. 4 of their distributors that i know personally told me not to get them because of the poor quality.

I am using the megan guages. The water temp. sender must be grounded at the sending site, not sure if this is standard for all but i found kinda of annoying. Overall not hugely impressed.

Bleh, I hate megan gauges. The lighting is so dim you can't even see the gauge readings on a sunny day. Gauges themselves are super cheap quality. I'd rather get an Autometer over a Megan gauge.
