I have a power steering leak and its getting worse...i tried to see if it was any of the hoses but i found a leak on this piece bu do not know what it is an i dont know if i have to replace the whole thing or just the connection? can anyone tell me what this piece is and any suggstions on what i can do??
where i could see leakage is the piece directly under the distributor cap and next to the oil dip stick (between the gold piece and the silver ball)

Which "letter" is leaking?

It's your high pressure power steering line. Replace it.
You can get a new one special ordered from Kragen or other autostores. You can also get one used from a junkyard cheap, but they're prone to leak sooner or later.
You'll need a 1'' or 15/16'' (dont remember which) closed wrench to loosen up the bolt "D" (as identified on your picture).
The rest is cake.

hahaha
It looks like letter "F" in the picture, which I would say you have to replace, if there is nothing to tighten. Make sure it isn't leaking from somewhere else and running down the hose; try tightening the connector to the pump.

Try tightening the banjo bolt holing the line to the pump. If it is actually leaking from the compression fitting on the line, you will like N1smor said, have to replace the whole line.

It's all one piece, just replace it. $45 + 45 minutes.

try tightening everything. 2 s13 I have leaked in that area and it was where the line from the resivor came to the pump.
clean it up and tighten stuff before spending $$$$$.

I just replaced all power steering return lines, my high pressure line was fine, I have 0 leaks. The line are probably all hard and brittle and the clamp can't tighten down anymore becasue the rubber hose have become inbedded by the stock hose clamp..

its a common thing with 240s. ive seen a lot of powersteering lines leak. if you havent replaced it, replace it before it leaks.
