I cannot find where the power amps is located after I opened the Door cover
I only see the Motor and regulator.
Can someone give me a diagram where to look for this piece since my
window won't roll up, or down.
thanks.

The "AMP" is in the drivers switch. The only parts are the Main switch(drivers), Sub-switch(pass) and left and right regulators.
You check the 7.5a Fuse, M13 circuit breaker? Power Window Relay?
Turn the ignition switch and check for power on the white with black stripe wire at the relay and at the main switch and sub-switch.

the switch has a white piece for the wiring.
but how come the power amp that I purchase from dealer is
bigger than the back of the switch? Therefore, the amp must be
somewhere else, must be relocated in a 1997 model
maybe I need to call the dealer.

the amp is not part of the switch, its a white box separate from the switch and its on the door behind the interior panel.
I just sold one recently to Brian Harte, and it fixed his problem. Easy fix, and fairly cheap.

97/98 nissan did away with the external box shaped amp due to failures with it I supposed, pretty common. They intergrated it into the door switch like S14DB, stated. Check 97-98 fsm shows diagram of amp being part of door switch.

Fuck I love worthless threads.
Only the 1995 models use an external amplifier, white box mounted to the door. (All S13s do as well, but we don't want to confuse the already ignorant fucks reading this)
1996-1998 DO NOT use an external amp, it's built in to the main switch on the driver's side. If the motor is tested good, you need a new main switch, simple as that.
End thread before someone else gets lost and says more dumb shit.

Just want to Thank you all for arriving at a conclusion that amp is incorporated inside the white component at the back of the switch.
the motor is alright, so now I need this one.
Wow! I already bought a white power amp, cost me $81.00

Wow, you got fucked. Dealer net isn't even that high, maybe $60 at most, I sell used ones all day for $20. Someone at the dealer had part of his penis still inside you, give it back.

Yes, I will throw it back to the Dealer and get my pennies worth.
Now, how do I TEST if window motor is still operating.
Please advise before I Buy this white box.
thanks

Use a 12V drill battery or greater, connect it to the motor. One way will roll it up, reversed will roll it down. If it doesn't move at all, replace the motor.
