I have a 89 240 with an SR. The car was originally a auto, but was converted to manual. I have the cluster in the car right now, and all the lights work and warning s signals. How do I get the tachometer to function??? I'm not sure if the speedometer works yet because the car hasn't been driven. But I was hoping someone can fill me in or at least point me in the right direction. Thanks alot

Search search search!
You need either a tachometer from an SR cluster, or Dohc KA cluster.
If you plan to get an SAFC later , you could always just display the rpm digitally on that, but you should just swap the tachometer or gauge cluster as needed.

I tried search here, nico, and yahoo. But could not find any straight answers. I have the jdm cluster INSTALLED as it says in my first post. I hear that i need to use the SOHC cluster with the jdm tach. But the motor is a SR which is DOHC so that would end up screwing it up. WHat to do?!?!
