I have read that the s13 transmission will not work on an s14 due to an extra sensor in the transmission. My question is does this hold true for the 95 od1 model also? I have yet to be able to find a definite answer, any help is appreciated.

You were told wrong and if you've ever even logged on to this forum you'd know that. I'm certain I've typed it over a dozen times this year, but here it is again for all the non-reading fucks:

ALL 89-98 TRANSMISSIONS ARE THE SAME

A few sensors may differ between years, swap these or leave loose, all you need is the VSS and reverse.

and on top of that, there is a excellent auto to 5 speed swap faq here as well. If I do have to say so myself once again.

so no one has ever heard of a car not revving over 5000 if you do not hook up a certain sensor. A friend of mine put an s13 tranny on his s14 and said this was the reason it would not rev to limiter.

I wish there was an amber alert system on here, one where Kevin can punch in an announcement and quote posts like this.

"Pwn'D, This has been a Zilvia Educational Moment"

But seriously, you may have overheard it wrong.

I doubt something with the trans would cause that. He probably fucked something else up.

Rctually, I do. In fact, I'm more of an asshole in person. You may think you had a reason, but it's a poor reason that didn't need verifying.

Actually, Russ is just as brash an asshole in person as he is online, especially if alcohol is involved.
