so what do u guys think of gt hd on the ps3? i think its pretty badass even though its just a demo. cant wait to see how gt5 will come out

I still think the audio part of the game is sub par, but it sure looks like they got the drifting dynamics right. Also, the detail work is insane if you look at the way the cars dive and the suspension compresses as you hit bumps. That being said, i know it's just a demo and they still have alot of stuff to finish off.

I enjoyed it very much!!! it looks amazing, the physics are better... it needs a sound refresher and some damage engine added to it though.

Thats a couple reasons why they've axed GTHD as being a seperate game. So they can focus on GT5.

I actually liked this demo and am liking how the next gen consoles are abusing high speed internet. So much cool stuff you can dl from xbox live and sony store. I just hope they keep at it.

In terms of the GT HD things its cool. I like how you can view top replays, super cool feature that should be awesome for time attacks competitions. And also the steering wheel works better in this game than it did in the last one. The force feedback could use some tweaking but it works well now.

it will prolly be good as an encyclopedia of cars

playing racing sims got me sorta branded for them over console racing, but console racing sims always had better presentation of the whole packaging..

GTHD is really pretty...but GT4 was pretty too. GT4 just wasn't fun to drive. I was the biggest GT fanboy last year and was super psyched about the game but when it came out I played it for two months and got bored..bare in mind that I spent the loot for the wheel and table set up. Was the biggest disappointment so I'm trying out Forza now. I got Forza 1 and while not as polished it was fun. I think the same thing will happen again..PD will make a gorgeous game but super dull..T10 will make a pretty (not gorgeous) game but tons of stuff to do. It might still end up being a draw though.

Did anyone else notcie though, that the steering feel in gt3 was wayyyy better than in gt4? and the highspeed dynamics i found were better in gt3. Also, you can't do real donuts in gt4, wtf is that.

Yea, many people were disapointed in GT4, including myself over-all. I look forward to GT5 though with faith.

I don't know..I think PD is stubborn and they are stuck on their way being the best way. They don't listen to the public's opinions. Turn 10 has a dedicated forum where the programmers go and check to read what ppl have to say. That's what got me.

No there is no date yet. Not even narrowed it down to a quarter. I expect the game no sooner then next year at this time. But more realisticly the spring of 08. Sounds nuts, but it's true.
