I've searched, but as some of you know, the searched button is not fully functional. I want to get some adj. multilink suspension parts and was going to get SPL but stumbled upon "Extra Made" in the Zilvia advertisements. Has anyone had any expierence with them?

I have never seen or heard of them. You can't go wrong with SPL. There are many people running them. I ran full spl arms on my s13 and I have ordered some more for my s14.

Are those even heim joints or just a metal bushing that doesn't swivel?

DriftSpecial180

They have to be heim joints. If they were solid it would just snap...

hahahahah, welded billet control arms

hahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahah ahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahah ahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahah ahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahah

they even have the cheap balls "we cant afford rod ends so we pressed a ball joint into a machined end."

those things look shitty, SPL or BV for life.

Fuck does any of that have to do with the original post? "What rims give the best bang for the buck", what is that even supposed to mean?

I'm starting a new company.

It will be called A Spec-Made

It's going to be bad ass, I can see it now.

How about Peak?

peak uses same heim joints as spl and shit( i believe but that was a while ago maybe they changed?), but their rod/arm material is a little better. I dont think its worth the extra money since most of the shit already out is doing its job pretty damn well.

about the rims and exhaust.... are you doing any serious racing? most likely no because you asked for which one was the best bang for you buck. To answer both of those last two questions i would just get something in that fits, cost the least and fits your style.

that looks like it would break if you droped them on the ground... i wouldnt bolt them onto my car.

Peak does not use the same rod ends as SPL. Some SPL is Japanese eh-spec two-piece, some is (very good) QA1 3-piece. Peak uses the excellent Aurora 3-piece rod ends.

Peak is very good quality, about the same as SPL's own stuff. The Nams stuff SPL sells is actually of a lower quality than the SPL arms but still pretty good.

Would I run those arms? Probably not, they look interesting but weak.

Whoever made those arms failed their engineering classes.

Uhhh, Stress likes to flow through a square 90 with no radius right?, fuck it whatever.

it looks like a high school kid threw some hunks of aluminum on hte ground with some heim ends and was told to peice em together. tubular>chunk-o-junk aluminum.
