sometimes when i try to start my car it starts up but you can hear the engine bogging down and it shuts off, then when you try to start it up after it bogs out you can heart he engine turn over but no start. so i wait about 5-10mins then try again, and guess what it starts. this seems to happen after the engine is warmed up and i start it up, never when its cold. what could be the problem? im thinking that its the fuel injectors, but thats just me.
any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

it might be a pump problem, but check the injectors for sure. a buddy of mine had that problem, he replaced injectors n pump.

Could be anything....from clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pressure regulator, vacuum leak, etc., etc., etc.

It help to know a little more about your car.

S13??...S14?? How many miles??

Stock KA? Auto / Manny?? Any mods....such as a cold air intake?? Is your Check Engine Light on?? You know how to put your car into Diagnostic Mode so as to check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes??

Use the SEARCH function here on Zilvia.Net and download yourself a free copy of your model year Factory Service Manual. You'll need it to help diagnose your engine problems.

Download the FSM, check your vacuum lines & answer the following, then post your reply.

Try to clean out or replace your IACV, the valve can stick and the motor floods and wont start. If that doesnt work try the coolant temp sensor, both of these things have been a pain in my ass for every nissan that i have owned. Every idle/starting problem I have had has been remedied by taking a look at those 2 parts. A good way to check the IACV is when you start the car give it like a half inch of gas on the pedal and if it cranks over you can almost be sure that its the IACV.
