I'm in the process of getting more serious about turning my S14 into a track car, and was wondering who here had seam/stitch welded their chassis and how much difference it made.
My chassis has been hit twice before I bought it, had quite a few offs since I bought it and you can tell it has a lot of miles on it.
I was planning on getting it put on a frame rack, would it be a better idea to wait until after I get it pulled straight to stitch weld it, or weld it first, then have it racked.
It's not so crooked that I should be looking for a new chassis, I just want a good platform to build on.

have it pulled str8 first then stitch weld it. I have the same problem.. well my frame is straight, just been in 2 front end crashes so i want it stitch welded. I have a few friends and other poeple tell me that when they had their car stitched it was very noticable (they all did not have roll cages)

it is noticable, Make sure you do it right though and do it in the right spots and your car will stiffin up.
