Pretty much ill have to say ive met Baby like once in my entire life and that was down at the Houston Formula D qualification down in Houston. Ive talked to him for a while on the Internet and this guy simply is fucking rad and has had some hard hits while pursuing something and doing what he want to fucking do.

After many blown motors and hard work to getting his car looking so good Baby once again head over to the D1 Drivers Search at Irwindale and once again gets a big fucking blow.....
I'm helping this friend because I know how hard it is when taking such a big financial hit and a big hit literally and trying to do something you love so much

^From what I know in lurking occasionally on Ziptied is that for Baby, this happens every weekend...to him. He puts in a motor, it blows. He gets another, it blows. He has it rebuilt, swaps it and it rod knocks or blows at start-up. He seems to have the worst luck ever...then when he gets some momentum back, BANG...something else happens. You're right, this stuff does happen to everyone, but not usually constantly like with Baby.

basically it was just a dumb mistake. i initiated to low on the bank figured with how fast i entered i could let off for a second and float higher up on the bank and maintain the high line d1 wanted us to take but becuase i changed my alignment and running bigger stickier tire sthan ever before (245/40/17 f, 265/35/18 r) the car snapped way faster than i expected. so i lifted, car started to straighten and i got back on the gas car started to understeer so i taped the brakes for a split second and got back on the gas again by the time i relized i was full throttle into the wall.

wtf? one company steals 10k from you and the other one is holding your things hostage and fired you because you crashed. Ahem you need to get yourself a lawyer man. All of that is completely in violation of California labor code. They cannot hold your stuff hostage, period! As far as firing you because of the crash unless your contractually obligated under an at will contract then you may have a labor case.

Baby came over to us with his spare tie rods he had and just gave it to us and helped us out. We replaced it, set the toe close as we can to zero with a tape measure, and we were on our way. These cars are not expensive to own or maintain, and from the sounds of it you can't afford either, stop trying to capitalize on Baby's misfortune, search craigslist, or the ghetto, and look for hand outs.

thank you guys for all your support. all of your money that i got (i havent totalled it yet it was like 140 i think??) is all going into my "new" car. my friend gave me his hatch with a cage in it already (NOT FINCH'S think green and d1 car) just needs some "fixing". its almost "done" whole rear subframe is swapped in already and the interior is all swapped. gonna swap motors tomorrow and wire it all on saturday and hopefully fire it all up. i need to pull out the rear drivers side corner which will take a couple hours as well. i cant wait to drive this thing!!! it should be done next week sometime its all ive been doing this week.

i should be out driving on the 20th at drift buffet testing the new car out. ill get some pictures its gonna be like 3 different colors for now but hey i just want to drive!!!
