Well anyways i just got my front wheelbearings(98 240) fixed at the dealer now when i drive it though i hear a clunking sound from the back when i decellerate at higher speeds(45+) even at lower speeds the noise is still there just not as loud. I have no idea whats going on the guy at the dealer said my rear wheel bearings are lose too but thats a bitch to fix so i would have to replace the whole hub+bearings. Anyone have any idea what i would be ??

Lift the rear of the car. Take both wheels off and see if there is any play in the wheel bearings. Or any play in some other part of the suspension. Spin the rear hubs and listen to how it's rotating. Is it loud and feel funny?

You have a problem that is common amongst all 95-98 Nissan 240SX. Your rear subframe bushings are worn out, hence the clunking sound. You have two options to fix the problem: Option #1). Drop the rear subframe & replace the bushings, (this is what every Nissan stealership recommends & it will cost you BOOKOO bucks too!!), or #2). Pick up a set of subframe aluminum spacers for $76 bucks plus shipping or subframe bushing inserts - $13 bucks plus shipping.

Click on the attached link for instructions on how to install your subframe bushing inserts / spacers:

Once you've installed the bushing inserts / spacers, you're clunking sound will disappear & your car's handling will improve.

Anyhow, hope this helps...
