Is this another cheap RWD concept that never makes it to production? Time will tell... But FWD seems to be too lucrative and those who "would" buy this typically don't have enough money, and those with enough money would rather step up to 350z, RX8, S2000, etc.

and lol @ this guys comments on the page you linked to.


Maybe add a small Ion-like or RX-8-ish set of "hidden" rear doors for those of us with kids.

Otherwise, pretty sweet idea.

i really like the lines of the rwd altima, but the front end looks a little weak, kinda like a chevy cobalt. The g35 ish looking rear end was sweet though, Ive always loved the way the g coupe and sedan looks.

the foria otoh, was very weak overall. wtf is with those fender vents? what is nissan trying to do...copy Buick?

the foria is more like a reintroduction of the classic 1960's silvia. if you compair the outline and major lines it is very simular.

well , like I said in the past Nissan had not given up on RWD Silvia, type car. I had seen info before about it and mentioned it. I would like to say that all bets as to what its going to look like are off at this point. Who knows they might even decide to do a AWD version of the altima coupe. hehehhehehhehhehe kinda kinda like the AWD drive bluebird. I tell you one thing if everyone likes the Altima coupe then let the letter writing campaign to Nissan start for a RWD or AWD drive version. That is something they might actually pay attention to unlike a petition to bring back the S chassis. :rofl:

that sad excuse for a RWD nissan concept is hurting my eyes to look at, whys the hood so long? it looks like they got confused and couldnt make up their mind on if they wanted to make it a fastback or a coupe, and the roof kind of looks like a BMW hard top for a convertable....horrible horrible design.

If they want to base the design off a older nissan it should be the 180sx(s13) , correct me if im wrong but that body design went from 89-98 with little change to the exterior design. The S13 chassis will for ever be a timeless design and never look bad.

and the 2 door altima, with some slight changes to the nose would be a pretty sick looking. i think id be able to live with that being in the SX family, as long as its got a somewhat decent motor..not that shit 2.5 in the SE-R, maybe something high reving, high comp aimed to compete with the S2000.
