I restitched a suede cover onto my nardi because it was pretty beat up when I bought it. I ended up doing it myself because the one place I found online quoted me about 200 bucks to do it. For that price, you might as well buy a new one. It was pretty tricky work, but I think it came out alright. I didn't have all the tools to make it 100% perfect, but it was also my first crack at it. I bought the suede from ebay, and found some good heavy duty thread and needles in Michaels. I'll try to take pictures and post them up, but I have to find my camera first!

cheers,
C

If it's for a beater or a racecar I'd just wrap that shiet in hockeytape and call it a day.:2f2f:

you could, i dont think its worth the hassle.

just get a woody and refinish it like me. I picked up a nardi woody for 20$ and now it looks as if brand new.

Besides being as cheap as one is willing to be?
For the situation, as described, super gluing or epoxying, or even worse hockey taping this wheel would make it even more aesthetically worthless than taking it to an upholstery shop. (yellowpages.com)
Get it fixed right, use it in it's currently shitty condition or sell it to someone who WILL fix it right and buy a steering wheel that is not beaten to hell.

No, no its not, Momo steering wheel is BFE tune enough, it doesn't need some 1950s tune stacked on top of it.

but on the real man, have pride in your cars guys

being ghetto is only funny as a joke, then 5 minutes later its not funny cause you have a ghetto modded car

yes you can buy rewrap kits, my friend did an old nardi like that, came out decent

comes with the wrap and the stitching, you stitch it up and make tight like a corsett

Being ghetto is only cool if you go balls deep in said ghetto.

I have yet to see anyone go balls deep in ghetto, except that one dude with the 50mms and Archflares stacked on top of each other and the flat black, and the single slammer.

lordy, that was pretty wack.

Okay, then continue using that stock one until you CAN afford a nice wheel.
The fact is that throwing a shitty junkyard wheel in, while waiting to get a nicer wheel will STILL mean that you bought 2 steering wheels, what sense is there in that?

Ive seen it in person. Taillights arent even wired right and those white lights on the bumper are for the reverse lights. The koukies are nowhere near wired correctly. it's a whole lot worse in person, lol.

Further support for why he should leave the junkyard wheel in the boneyard unless he also went to automotive upholstery school and can redo it himself.
