S15 Front

Friend of a Friend told me this weekend he knows where I can get a used FRP S15 front conversion for my car at a very cheap price. Just gauging interest on what you all think of the S15 front on a 180? I like the current front I have, (it's obvious since I keep spending hours repairing it every time I crack it up), but also love the S15 look. I haven't seen too many with S15 Front on them. You gusy think this is a good look for the 180?

I have never seen one in person. I know that the S13 one looks good if you get rid of the stock S13 aero, Saw one Kouki S14 one and that looked horrible to me...

Dude you have never seen one in oki...LIER...I seen plenty, and in my opinion they look great. Ids prefer a 15.80 over an s14 with an s15 front end. Only reason why I didn’t do it when I was in oki was because that fucker was to expensive, lights alone are a lot. If it’s a reasonable price I say go for it...the YON has your back

This whole set up is 35,000 yen, with lights, thats why I am thinking about it...plus that is alot of weight coming off the car.

It's weird because normally I think the Target stuff is ugly as shit, but.... who knows.

Not too much of a fan of the S15 front on any car at all.
BUT you said you liked the way it looks, so I think that you should get it since it is your car and you're going to be the one driving it and looking at it everyday.
If you like it and have the money laying around for it, do it

Although I think thats like around 3k in USD so I don't think its that cheap if its FRP maybe if it was the stock metal, not 100% sure on the price conversion though

We can go look at one down the street at the dealer, Escort. They have a red 1580 for about 6G... You want that front end, better get it quick, it's too cheap!

The kit is about $325.00 USD, all fiber, includes hood, fenders, front bumber, S15 lights, and is off a 180sx. Not sure what aero company it is as we have yet to see it. It is in the Okinawa classifieds.

The Enjuku S13.5's are really clean, but if you're in Japan, just get an S15, and have the best of both worlds, haha.
Pop-ups on hatchbacks FTW, I'd only do a conversion if I destroyed my front end, I can't justify spending money on such a thing. Nah, I'd still probably go with pop-ups again.

Don't de-face the 180!!!! Yours is to to clean to do it. wait till you bend it up then think about it. Don't do it even it is cheap. If thats your reason to buy it then buy it and sell it to some fan boy. There is plenty of kits here in japan to change the look but keep it a 180.

personally i love the front end.. i like it on s14s though.. looks good to me.. i think it will take away from the 180s apeal.. just my opinion.. Thanks for all the opinons. I kinda like junkyards saying buy it and store it. I'll think about it. Same price as a Radiator and Seat though, so Im gonna have to think a bit.. Like Viceroy said up there it only looks good with full aero and wing and shit. No way I am putting a wing on my car.

Average price is about a Million Yen give or take a 100,000. Problem is I do not see myself with a car payment. I have been without one for so long that it is a nice feeling.

Yeah Robby, 8,000 G's is the rate, now these are SPEC R's I am talking about, of course the only one to look at anyway. Fucked that I pad 5 g's for mine 2 years ago. Goin rate for Clean Chuki 180 now is 350,000 Yens. ejkisela and I spent about 30 minutes the other night looking at this silver Spec R that was clean as hell. I think he may be getting one or a Tourer V next. i can't keep up with him and all of his cars...

i think the S15 conversion on the 180 looks hella nice. i would only put the s13,s15 conversion on the 180. any s14 conversion on the 180 looks like crap. same with the s13 coupe..only s13 or stay with the oem flip ups. look at the signal auto drift twin 180's. they have the S15 conversion.

Well I say go for it Daryl. My car is getting it. I am running a factory bumper with the gracer lip, chouki sides, bomex rear.vented hood. Work Emotion CR KAI's 17/18 staggered. I can say it will look good with the combination of the factory aero and gracer/bomex parts. I did not plan this without thinking about what will look good. There are aftermarket bumpers that are nice and some that are ugly. Same goes with side skirts which is why I opted for the factory chouki ones.FRP does not hold up like factory urethane which is why I opted for the factory bumper with the gracer lip. which does look badass I should ad.

It had aftermarket aero on it but clean..I'll tell you what, I'll take pics of them. One of them has an ugly ass widebody blister kit. Been there for a year and still hasnt sold. nice color, but too wide of a body.

Those 15s we saw the other night were hella clean. Very subtle body kits, nice rims. I had a Chaser Tourer V before, but I just might have to do a stock grey colored S15. These cars are usually done up with suspension and rims and aero. I am old, so I don't need the crazy aero. Dizzel, we need to go out and do some pics...How do we post pics on here?

Daryl: I say save your money and use it for something else. There is no point putting a front end on your car if you have no need for it. As was stated, if someone hits your car after you have the front on; abet it be front or back. It will cost money to fix. So that means you would be out the money it cost to purchase and paint the front.... you did plan on painting it rite? Wait untill you need a front, instead of NEEDing a front.
