That makes sense, and it also makes sense that they cost about a third what the NFS games cost.

Games usually get boring after 2 days, but its still kinda fun, at least this one will be online...

I hate to burst youe bubble's but the new TXR is alrady out for 360. TIt came out on September 27th. They changed the name to Imort Tuner Challenge, something I'm not happy about. See the link below. I've been a huge fan of the series since Dreamcast. I have not played the new one though so I can't tell you how it is. I may pick it up down the road if it goes down to $20.

hmm.. if i had a xbox 360, if they kept the TXR name, then I would have paid noticed to the ads and consider the game, but not knowing that, and seeing import tuner challange, i would surely pass it on as a street racing syndicate/underground type game.

Lets start a trend by street racing in reverse, then hollywood will catch on, and before you know it, everyone is doing it becuase its cool.. =D

I can vouch that this is pretty much the game that I dug so much on PS2 but even better. Granted its not like a Need for Speed game, I think thats a good thing, but its good for the same reasons those who played the previous games for. I also agree it would be worth purchasing on the cheap only though.

i got this game on release day and i still play it time to time. its not as "ricerish" as many of the videos may make it seem to be. its still the same core TXR game except you have options to install Bride/Recaro seats, HKS/Greddy guages, interior colors, rollcages, etc.. theres also real aero companies that range from bn, vertex, veilside, etc.

theres also variations of steering wheels available too that look like nardi wheels.

the engine bay is also changed according to engine tuning levels.

ai is alright, but the game overall seems easier than the past games, imo.

theres also nitrous if anyone cares...

the track is also limited to the original loop.. no wangan straight.
