the tension rod adjusts caster, a stability angle, the tie rods are for toe. but a bad bushing should cause a pull during braking or acceleration very noticeable when bad.

Put it this way......
They sent me some badass tension rods. They didn't adjust quite as far as they should have, but i waited 6 or 8 months, and drove many miles on them before noticing... I told Kuah at SPL. HE SENT ME NEW ONES.....for free.
I don't know the man personally, but i'm very impressed with his customer service...this is the second time he's helped me when he really didn't "have to".

you know your shit buddy, caster will NOT cause tire tread wear. go with SPL, they are huge, light, strong, and about the same price as any other brand name. ps Kazama = shit

#1 always get an alignment after lowering
#2 neither. get spl or bv tension rods.
#3 get an alignment after installing tension rods

SPL tension rods are great. I have the version 1 tension rods from Kuah and have had them for, I think 3 years, and they still work great. I may someday upgrade to the V2's.

Get and alignment.
Have the tech tell you what is wrong.
I'm guessing that your Toe is messed up. But you won't know till you get it checked out on the rack.

I second the toe being an issue as well. Might as well pick up the inner and outer tie rod pieces while you are at it.

the inner and outer tie rod could be the case. i did recently change the steering rack boots. i kno it might not be exactly correct but my steering is straight and wen i took off the tie rod to get the new boot on i put tightened both tie rod on both sides where you could only see about 6 threads left. any idea if i need to re-adjust this to something else. i think my wear on my tires werent this bad before. plz help out. thanks!

dude. get an alignment. you can't eyeball that shit.
hell you could have massive toe in on each side and your car will still drive straight as long as its the same on both sides. just because it drives straight doesn't mean it's aligned properly.
get the t/c rods asap and then get an alignment. done.

well just picked up some urethane bushings for the tc. just for now. but will upgrade to spl v2 tension rods later. if i get camber plates would this fix the problem?? cause i dont really feel any steering jerking or any problems with that. just regular camber wear?? so camber plates...yes or no??

Arg! We aren't psychic and we aren't going to go to your house and measure out your alignment. Take it to a shop, ask them what it's at right now. If your camber is off then you can get camber plates or eccentric bolts. If it's your caster (probably not) you can get tc rods. If it's your toe then get toe rods/end. adsdfnakljslkgjaldjsgjkl

Stop buying parts and got get a lifetime alignment at Firestone or some other place.
Then when you know what's wrong then buy parts to fix it.

jack the car up and see how much play is in the wheel itself, you may have a blown ball joint. if you have a lot of wobble its a dead giveaway, also check the play on the rear wheels and make sure your axle bearings arent on the way out as well, i just had to deal with this particular problem recently, and the odd camber wear was the first sign, though being a silly newbie, i didn't pick up on that. i learned the hard way. don't learn the hard way.
Oh yeah, for suspension upgrades also check out battle version, they come in the cool color of red. youre also doing something responsible, helping fund alex pfieffer. stop the plague of drifting with no dough! peace my man.

you could buy a million dollars worth of parts and it wont fix the problem until you get an alignment
if they cannot align something to spec they will tell you and you will then know what you need to buy
