Just got my alternator changed didn't know where this broken wire is suppose to go cause it was like that before i changed the alternator? The black wire with yellow stripe is the ground wire. The skinny black wire coming off the loom is one that goes to back of the alternator. The other black thing is a ziptie.

is there a big wire hooked to your alternaor? it looks like the one that goes to the alternator and usually has a ===(o) on the end.
maybe the alternator wasnt bad???

yeah maybe that was the frayed wired i saw. Well so what do i need to do crimp another same gauge wire and then get a connecter on there.

bearing dont make the stator windings short to ground tho - was it charging th ebattery? my guess is thats the output wire from the alternator - and your battery was goin dead after a few days?

looks like a ground, the wires coming off the alternator are as follows, black-ground, white goes to fuse box then to batt, then the white with red strip goes to the interior fuse box
