4 lug swap?

I just picked up this '97 SE. Ive got panasports for my '92 coupe. i don't have a thousand dollars for nice 5 lug rims for the kouki. curious to get your opinion on how the panasports look shopped onto my car, cuz im seriously considering buying used 4-lug hubs for them... the car looks so weird with a body kit and the stock SE rims ducking in the fenders.

Why don't you just buy some 5zigens? They're around $200 a piece and Kuah at SPL hooks it up on shipping.

17x9 +15 wouldn't look too bad with your kitted out Kouki. Just remember to buy spacers.

I don't like how those particular wheels look on that car, but if you feel you MUST, then I would bet $100.00 against a bucket of shit that any 5 Zilvians would trade your 5-lug for their 4-lug.
Otherwise, I suggest selling your wheels and getting some 5-luggers, the options will be far more open should you decide to change again down the road anyway.

i said i didnt have a thousand dollars... not that i couldnt save up a thousand dollars. i just have panasports right now and 4 lug hubs have to be cheap.

i dont want to sell my panasports. i'll probably just keep them for the coupe and wait for something 5 lug to come along. CR KAI's 'Were' on the car. why that's funny im not sure... but they did not come with it, like i said its got the se 16"s which look a lil silly.

16 inches are stock on 14s. So no, 16s wouldnt look better on a kouki. It'd look teh same, probably worse since you're kitted and lowered,

If you're not using stock wheels 17" is good since you're trying not to spend too much money. Don't take two steps back to justify using wheels you have, but don't fit.

You didnt, at least not the sharp spoked FS series like mine. they had a series in 17" with 5 big sharp spokes or 7 rounded spokes but theyre both discontiuned.

I'm still considering it. I can always reverse the process if I find 5 lug RIMS i just have to have.

i appreciate the offer but similar to everyone's opinion on my tastes, i cant see myself thinking those would look good on this car... and i've got a pretty vivid imagination.

to be honest these rims aren't staying on the car. weather or not you want to know the story the tires on the o.e. 16"s were down to the belts and the used hubs were nearly free, so while my built s13 is back on stock suspension with snow tires for the season it made sense to me to put the pana's on the 14... and it just so happens that it looks fucking hot (to me). when springtime come craigslist will see me looking for used maxima wheels... hoping to spend around $400 there.
