:tweak: im lost, i just got this chuki 180sx and i know it has cams and a walbro fuel pump which is running really rich, well one of my bolts on the distributer broke and i replace it, in which i had to take the whole thing out, i put it back the same way but now it wont start:eek: could it be the timing or something else, im putting the car back to stock and go from there, make sure the car runs right.

You don't have it lined up correctly. Common problem.

Search zilvia for any timing threads you're bound to find one that covers how to align the CAS correctly.

EDIT: Here, let me help you out.

read number 11 on how to set up the CAS correctly.

Heh, I just noticed you're working on a KA (whoops).

The procedures I gave you are for an SR.

As per KA FSM:

"Make sure that No. 1 Piston is a Top Dead Center and that the distributor rotor is set at No. 1 cylinder spark position."

Hopefully that helps.

Yea, you dont have a 180sx. unless it really is a 180sx and you meant cas instead of distributor, and its right hand drive and really from japan.

yea timing is off. line up the rotor with cylinder # 1. when you put it in its gonna move clockwise like 3or 4 teeth so you have improvise and stick it in there 3 or 4 teeth retarded so it will line up once its in all the way. and if you wanna make sure yits dead on take off the valve cover and you can see the little dot on the shaft(whatever its called) line up with the dot on that sproket.

have someone turn on the ignition just to acc (before you start the car) and stand by the fuel pump and you should hear the pump push fuel, if you dont...well you should know the answer by then... (also check your wiring on the fuel pump, power, ground etc..):2f2f:
