I read a while back that there was another manufacturer making LSD units besides Kazz ($700). Does anyone know about his and can point be the direction with a link?
Or is anyone discounting Kazz?

Kaaz, Nismo, Cusco, ATS, Tomei, Quaife (Some may not be in your price range)

Quaife is most definitely not $700. Quiafe is almost $1400.
Kaaz, ATS/Carbonetic metal LSD, and Tomei are all within the same price range. The Nismo street LSD is also.
The Cusco LSDs are like slightly more pricey than those above, and the higher dollar Nismo/ATS/Carbonetic/Quaife ones.
The Nismo GT Pro is like $1200 but comes with a badass LSD and also the output flanges.
The ATS/Carbonetic carbon LSD is about the same price, but you get the benefits of carbon disks in the LSD instead of metal disks (worth the money IMO).
Quaife is expensive cause of the warranty I think, not that their stuff sucks or anything.

Or, if money is an issue, opt for a cheaper OBX Helical LSD, or OEM VLSD.
If money is STILL an issue, weld it.

I can not find ATS I think they sold the business. So how do I sought this out I think I need 2-way for the snow that is my mane reason, I also like to corner and do a little street drifting that is all. Are they basically the same can I enjoy the benefits from an $800 unit? Looks like Kazz or Tonei are $110 apart. What is the difference in product? Number of plates. What the hell am I talking about Please help? Looks like I should be fine with the Tonei oor the Kazz 2 way. Where do I get the best price?

Yes sir!
ATS-Across is very much still a company.
Actually, when you call the number on Carbonetic's website, guess what the JDM lady says?
"Across USA!"

Carbonetic 2 Way looks like a very good product Where can I get a good price $800 for one? does it needany other parts or mods to the rear end or you just install it. Can you tune this to 80% like the kaaz?

If you're going to get a nice LSD like this or Kaaz, why tune it down? I daily drive a Kaaz LSD right out of the box, and it's not a pain at all. Sure, it clunks a bit in parking lots, but after a while it becomes a background noise like a loud exhaust.. Embrace the clunk!

I got a good price I think on the Carbonetic LSD 2 way with carbon plates for a good price. I spoke with the tech and he says I need to change the oil every 4,000 miles with my style of conservative 10k per year driving I should get 7+ years on it before it starts to slip open. Using it for performance driving will get you 3-4s years before a $600 overhaul and you need to change the oil every 3000 miles. My car has 220k on the original engine without a timing chain change. The only problem is living a block from the ocean the entire front undercarriage needs serious restoration so I have decided to byte the bullet and completely restore the car to factory new with my second center force clutch, LSD new HID lights, custom paint job for a budged $8,300. When the engine finally goes I can replace it with a rebuilt ATK with 100k mileage warrantee for $2700. The only other mods are Toicko shocks 1” drop lowering springs, reduction pulley system, blinking side markers, custom stereo, with XM radio, stainless steel exhaust system, leather front seats from a S14, 17” wheels and budget NITO radial tires, and sound deadening material throughout the entire passenger cabin.
Where else can I get such a great handling new car for $8,500.00?

To be fair, if you sold your car for what its worth, you'd have like over 11k probably.
You can get a early 2000's mx5 for that, or several similar deals.

did he just say he's running nittos, added sound deadening, and had a great handling car? maybe its the tokicos he should be proud of?

Well to be fare the car is not worth that with the extensive under carriage damage. The corrosion from the sea and winter road salt have just about evaporated the frame. If you are familiar with the parts # 75168 and 75169 have all but collapsed and are being held together with weld plate patches. Group 74802 74803 75130 75131 are 75% gone. The centerforce clutch is beginning to slip with 68k on it. My lifetime warrantees need exercising. The Borla exhaust needs a new rear free muffler and the Tokico shocks need free replacement of all four. They actually froze up on me the other day. I hit a tiny bump and the rear end moved up and to the side. Yes maybe from 8 feet away it could be worth that much. Maybe if nobody ever looked underneath I could sell it for $5k. But I could never do that to anyone it borders on criminal. Except for the items that I felt like changing the only things repaired were the starter, alternator, master and slave clutch units, front engine mounts. My car always turns heads because I took a beautiful design and improved on it. Most of the ad on kits look overdone and those that are half way decent would not last a month in NY without a crack in their puny thin fiberglass. The current paint job which is 6 years old has Nissan red on all parts except the roof which is black. The side rear and hatch windows are darkened to match the black roof. The mirror frames are red. The rear reflector now red and looks like a body panel. All the black trim around the tails lights is red the head lamp bezels are red. I can these practical modifications for it is my daily driver. My new paint scheme is the following: Sand blast the entire frame fix all the exterior dings and use Bondo to close down the gaps between the body parts. Paint the car in a bright yellow primer. Paint with the same Nissan red undercoat. Add a pinch of pearl to the first clear coat. Then mask off the grove that usually has the tape which always peels off. Air brushes with two darker shades of the same red to emphasize the depression making it look deeper finished off with three clear coats. You must also keep in mind that I use to race cars at Limerock am now 66 year old and still car crazy. When I get finished the car will be a one of a kind and I could maybe get 15K. I think I keep her for another 17 years and then sell her for $100,000 that if you can still buy regular gas.

Yeah building up a car how you like it will give you things that a car made in this decade won't.
just saying.
