so i checked the glove box for my key code but i don't have any...
at nissan they told me if i can bring the whole lock solenoid cylinder i can get a new key made...
so how do i remove that? i also heard the trunk is the easiest to remove...how do i do that? need help asap...thanks in advance

hotwire it, its not hard. well idk people might think your stealing it lol
idk if same on s14 but s13's pretty easy atleast ignition key would be easy. pretty much remove plastic cover and look at where it bolts up, should be pretty straight up

call a mobile locksmith $$ to make you a key
not cheap but those guys work wonders
From my understanding, you can use the glovebox key cylinder. It'll be easier to pull that out (I would think) and just bring it to a locksmith. They'll probably charge less that way too.

if you need to drive it pull the covers off and unscrew the ignition switch... put a screwdriver in there and turn it then it should work. driving to a locksmith is alot cheaper than a mobile locksmith... just make sure you bring your registration and stuff with you

you can get it started that way, but the steering wheel will be locked. When I permanently hotwired my S14, I had to do a bunch of drilling to get the whole ignition cylinder out. The lock cylinder for the trunk is pretty easy to get out. There is a clip on the inside that holds the lock cylinder in place, just use a big screwdriver and push it to the side. voila.

On an S14 the center tailight panel has to come off first, but it's still easy, only four M5 nuts secure it, then two M6 bolts hold the cylinder in place.

I had a mechanic tell me they also put the key code on the passenger side lock cylinder... I haven't had time to check that to see if they did it on the 240's, but might be worth a peek....

They don't. The key code is only stamped on a tag that comes with the car when bought new.
